There are many small temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha , Lord kaethikeyan apart from the main Lord Siva and Goddess Parvathi temple. You can see the architecrural brilliance at play with real life like statues looking at you. You can just sit quietly in a silent corner and meditate. Very energetic place
Opposite to this Temple there is one Special Traditional Halwa shop called “Iruttu Kadai halwa”(Dark shop halwa). It is 100 years old shop. The taste of halwa is totally different from other shops halwa.
